At the Aleka’s hotel, we make significant investments and efforts for environmental sustainability, taking measures that can have positive impacts on the society of Pelion and nature.

In detail, we follow the below 15 sustainability steps for each category:

1. Waste:
   • Option to skip daily room cleaning
   • Towels are reusable
   • No single-use plastic shampoos and body wash bottles
   • No single-use plastic stirrers
   • No single-use plastic cups
   • No single-use plastic cutlery/plates
2. Energy and Greenhouse Gases:
   • Majority of foods are locally sourced
   • All windows have double glazing
   • We do efforts to reduce food waste
   • Menu options for vegetarians
   • Menu options for vegans
   • Most provided foods are organic
3. Pelion Community:
   • We provide guests with information about local ecosystems, heritage, culture, and visitor etiquette
   • A percentage of income goes towards maintaining Pelion's trails
   • We use local products from Pelion's producers
   • We provide a platform for local artists to showcase their talents through organizing exhibitions in the spaces of Alekas.
